. 1. Initial Call Our initial call with prospective franchisees offers us the opportunity to provide you with an overview of our franchise and pre-qualify you for franchise development. 2. Application If you have a high level of interest in the franchise opportunity and are seeking additional information, we require you to complete our franchise application and personal financial statement. Due to the responsibility our franchisees have, we are careful in selecting our candidates and require complete background and credit checks prior to you being accepted into our system. 3. Introduction to Ident-A-Kid Prospective owners that have been approved by our selection committee are contacted by the Ident-A-Kid Franchise Development Team to review the opportunity in greater detail. We discuss what to look for in our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and how important it is to talk to our existing franchisees (Program Directors). 4. FDD Review This disclosure document is required by the Federal Trade Commission. You will have 10 business days to review the FDD and contact us with any questions. 5. Validation Calls Feel free to contact one or more of the hundreds of Ident-A-Kid franchisees to get a firsthand look into the day-to-day business of Ident-A-Kid. We maintain very high satisfactory levels with our franchisees that is a result of the comprehensive support systems we have in place. 6. Franchisee Support You’ll learn about our training programs, educational systems and ongoing support for the life of your business. 7. Executive Interview Qualified candidates will be asked to meet by telephone with our executive team in Florida to more fully explore Ident-A-Kid's company culture, values and vision. 8. Discovery Day Next, qualified candidates will be asked to travel to Florida and visit the company's headquarters for a Discovery Day. As advocates for child safety, we have developed comprehensive criteria with which all prospects are evaluated in terms of candidates backgrounds, their desire to help children, and their ability to run a successful franchise. If all goes well during this Discovery Day, and if all qualifications are met, we can execute our franchise licensing agreement and proceed with the development of your own Ident-A-Kid franchise. |
